The problem

AI-generated text is easy to spot. UnslopAI runs a quiz where anyone can test whether they can tell AI writing from human writing — and about 75% of people spot the AI quite easily. Once a reader spots it, the text reads as low effort: it looks like you didn't bother to write it yourself, even when you did put real work in.

And people have good reasons to write with AI. English isn't everyone's first language. Research and drafting with a model is just how work gets done now. The problem isn't using AI — it's publishing text that still carries the patterns.

Why not just ask an LLM?

Because sending slop to an LLM produces new slop. If you ask a model to “make this sound human”, it rewrites your text with the same patterns you're trying to remove — that's simply how it writes. UnslopAI doesn't pipe your text through another LLM. It runs its own stack of detection mechanisms and rewriting algorithms, built and improved specifically for this one job.
